Greetings,

 Accumulating snowfall is expected tonight through Monday afternoon in the higher elevations of East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

Current Watches, Warnings, or Advisories:

• Winter Weather Advisory from 12 AM tonight through 4 PM Monday for the East Tennessee mountains and parts of Southwest Virginia.

What has changed:  The previously issued Wind Advisory expired at 3:00 PM today. A Winter Weather Advisory was issued which will be in effect from midnight through 4 PM tomorrow.

Primary Hazards

• Hazard: Snow
  
• What: 1-5 inches above 2500 ft., with locally higher totals possible in the highest peaks.
• Where: East Tennessee mountains and higher elevations of Southwest Virginia
• When: Tonight and Monday
